About the author

Carter Hamric wrote Big Ole Day at the Beach seven years ago on their son's very first beach trip. Then, he thought it'd be fun to turn into a book!

He started documenting the journey on IG @bigoledaystudios and one thing lead to another... Working alongside illustrator Olivia Vanderhagen, there are now two books in the series with big ole plans for more to come!
